Fundraising

We think that our online presence and our sound are important:

Being able to livestream our service and produce good quality video teaching:

1. Allows people to check us out online, which many do before they come in person on a Sunday.
2. Allows others beyond our Church Family to benefit from our teaching resources.
3. Helps us care for those who can’t come on a Sunday, for example, for health reasons.

Having a good sound system allows us to enjoy the kind of worship that is a normal part of our Sunday service, in addition to the many events throughout the year that use our building.

Our current equipment needs replacing

1. It has reached the end of its lifespan. For example, our speakers are over 20 years old and beginning to break.
2. We have also been borrowing people’s personal equipment for years now, and this is becoming dishonouring.
3. We’re not looking to upgrade in quality particularly, but to maintain our current level of what we can do.

We don’t have the money in our existing budget or reserves to do this, therefore we will only do it if we can raise the money in addition to our usual giving/spending.
