4 things you need to know about Summer Sundays at ACC

summersundaysThe Summer holidays are fast approaching and we wanted to let you know all about what’s going on in our Sunday gatherings here at ACC.

1) There will be food!
Now that got your attention! Yes, from Sunday 31st July to Sunday 21st August there will be food following our Sunday gatherings. Muffins, ice cream, donuts and more. This isn’t just about giving you a nice cake and some coffee on a Sunday, it’s about giving us chance to connect with one another. Our services will be shorter and following every service you will have chance to chat and catch up with others over a bit of food and tea/coffee.

2) There will be children’s activities
Over the summer holidays our hard working children’s and youth team take a well-earned break. However, we know how important it is for our children to still have activities and chance to have fun and build friendships with other children. Therefore over the summer weeks we will be providing activities in the youth lounge for 0 to 14 years olds. There will be free play, craft, refreshments and of course biscuits!

3) There will be stories and testimonies
Over the summer we will be focusing our teaching slot on stories and testimonies from across the church family. We will still have our time of corporate worship, which will then be followed by interviews with members of our church family focused on ‘Living Life Together’. What does ‘life together’ look like in reality? How do we care for one another? How do we stay the course? Each session will be followed by some teaching to give a Biblical foundation.

4) Don’t forget our Summer Day Out
***
Please note we have now done our Summer Day Out. It was a fantastic day for all involved. Watch this space for 2017…
Our Summer Day Out is this Sunday 24th July, 1-4pm at Rowheath Pavilion. This is a great opportunity to connect as a church family, make new friends and catch up with those you already know. It’s also a good opportunity to invite friends and family who may not be used to a church environment to come and share in our life together.
