We had a great time during The Alpha Course!
This was the first course that was a change of style for Amblecote Christian Centre, using live presenters rather than DVD’s to facilitate the course. So did it work?
Well the team and the guests all voted it a resounding YES! Thank you to the team for all their hard work and let us tell you about a few things that happened: –
Several people committed their lives to Jesus and made Him the focus of their lives. For a few this was their first time of making Jesus their Saviour, for others it was a re-commitment of their lives. One lady told us ” My life has been completely changed, I am a new person.”
On the away day people found the power of God filling their lives in a very new and special way. One young man told us ” I have never felt God’s presence like this before, I feel totally different.” We also looked at Does God Heal Today on the away day and evangelist Mike Harris taught us and then prayed for healing for anyone who wanted it. One lady with a 80% hearing loss was totally healed and now no longer needs her hearing aids.
The next course starts on Wednesday 25th September 2013 at 7pm and several of the people who came to this course are bringing friends or family to the next one.
