After exploring a few different options and balancing various pros and cons we’ve decided to go for Hendre. It’s just down the road from the campsite where we usually go, so it will still work for people coming by train or staying offsite nearby, but has much better reviews so we hope to at least have toilets with toilet seats on!
The dates are Sunday 19th – Friday 24th July. Prices have increased everywhere, so the cost this year will be £225 for the five nights. All the pitches have electric hook-up.
This campsite is more organised, which is a good sign, but it means that we need to get all the details to the campsite within the next week, so please could you get back to me asap with the following details:
- Names of adults
- How many children 3+
- How many children under 3
- How many dogs
- Size of tent
- Vehicle reg
- Contact email
- Contact number
Ideally we also need the money transferred to the church bank account in the next week (5th December: please put for reference ‘camping 2026’), however if you’re struggling to do this with Christmas on the horizon please contact Tim Murray or John Cook (tim.m@amblecotecc.org.uk / john.c@amblecotecc.org.uk) and we can make arrangements for you to get the money to us in the New Year. Please also message me to let me know that you have paid as that will enable me to list you as a definite attendee.
