The year before last a bunch of us went camping together and had an amazing time, so we’re planning on doing it again and you’re invited!
From Sunday 25th until Friday 30th July (the first week of the school summer holidays), we will be returning to Stowford Farm Meadows campsite in North Devon (details: www.stowford.co.uk). Early in the New Year we’ll contact Stowford to block book a load of pitches for us – last time the price was £25 a night (£125) in total, so it probably won’t be too different this time. The campsite itself is really well equipped – all the pitches are electric hookup with plenty of onsite facilities. Its very family friendly with lots for children to do, and we’re close to the coast for days on the beach.
This isn’t a ‘group holiday’ in the sense of us having a schedule and all doing the same thing, but rather its just a chance for us to all get away to the same place, enjoy some holiday in one another’s company and have a good time, however that best suits each of us. I always find you get to know each other in a different way when you’re away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, sitting on a field as the sun sets tucking into sausages from the BBQ and enjoying a beer…
