Room for Rent
The Hawbush Project is a Christian charity that is supported by the Amblecote Christian Centre and works on the Hawbush Estate, Brierley Hill with two main aims. The first is to access the lives of local people through a range of practical activities and the second is to see a Christian community established on the estate.
In 2008, the project purchased a house on the estate that has two rooms for people to rent which helps to ensure the project is financially viable. At the moment one of these rooms is available for a female tenant.
We are ideally looking for a tenant to live in the house who is female and aged between 18 and 35, so if you know anybody within the congregation or anyone outside who has a heart to live out local mission or simply is a believer who currently needs somewhere to live that costs only £175 rent per month please ask them to contact us to discuss the details.
Over the past few years we have had congregation members Stephen Cook, Matthew Welch, Dave Barton, Tim Page, Kelsey Whitfield, Amy Fairley, Gemma Venmore and current tenant Lynda Payne all live in the house.
