In September of last year we launched our second Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing course.
We met in a home again, rather than the church building, as this environment provides us with a really comfortable & relaxing space to gather.
Our mental wellbeing is equally as important as our physical health and this 10 week course is a great way to look into a different topic each week, including Honesty, Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Grief & Loss, Forgiveness & Self Acceptance.
This time we had seven lovely people who signed up, both men and women. Here are couple of comments from some of them.
“I found this course to be different to other similar courses. It allowed us to work through issues that everyone faces in life and gave us tools to address and deal with what are pertinent to us individually. The way it is delivered is brilliant and the home environment provided safety and security to be honest and open with your own reflections. Whether you are currently facing hard to deal with situations or you have issues from your past, there is something that everyone can take from it. The course is both practical and biblical and the everyday examples from people’s lives really resonated with me.”
“Kintsugi Hope supported me wonderfully when I needed to further explore some areas of my mental health. In a relaxed environment I felt able to discuss tricky issues, ask questions in a safe space, where my feelings were accepted and validated. It provided clear strategies that I could take on board to improve my wellbeing. I’d highly recommend going through the Kintsugi Hope course if you want to develop your ability to cope more effectively with day to day life.”
We are hoping to run this course again at some point this year. More details to follow nearer the time.
