This week we’ll be continuing our series in Luke covering a part of the text in which Jesus talks about judgement and blessedness. Sometimes Jesus is represented as the ‘gentle Jesus meek and mild’, without also recognising the ‘Jesus who came to divide with thunder on his lips’ – this week should shatter any of those illusions! We will look together at how directly confrontational Jesus could be at times and how his words still confront us today.
