We are extremely excited for our baptism this Sunday. We know that it is going to be a blessed time together and we look forward to hearing how God is working in the lives of those getting baptised.
There are 5 people getting baptised and we thought it would be great for them to introduce themselves leading up to this Sunday.

“Hello, my name is Simon Black I’ve been attending the Church’s Alpha and Beta course since September and recently started to attend the Sunday Morning Gathering.
I’m currently working as a figure sculptor making toy soldiers and trying to turn it into a viable online business. The little spare time I have is spent with my dog, watching films and playing board games with friends.”
“Hello, my name is Chloé Nicole Dawn Jeavons, I’m 22 years old and have spent 4 years here at ACC. My Monday to Friday title is an Assurance Financial Accountant at Ernst and Young – I work very hard in the week and aim to enjoy my weekends to the maximum! I love to travel to new countries, explore different cultures and meet new people. I spend most of my weekends eating in restaurants with the people I love and cuddling my cat Jiko. The gym is my second home and I love the freedom you feel from running outside, my goal is to complete a marathon soon! I look forward to sharing my testimony with you all and the amazing work God has done in my life.”
“Hi, my name is Jessamy and I’ve been going to ACC for 17 years- ever since I was born.I’m currently at college studying for A levels. I enjoy playing the cello and spending time with my friends.”
“Hi, my name is Isabelle Straw. I am 14 years old. I go to Redhill school and am in year 9. I have been going to Amblecote church since I was a baby. I am an avid reader, play the piano, and enjoy walking, cycling. I also used to do dancing and tap.”
“Hello, my name is Pat Young. I am 65 years old and have been coming to Amblecote Christian Centre for almost 10 years now I think. I have one son and one daughter, and used to work in a factory. I enjoy cooking, reading medical books, walking and I love to meet new people. I also enjoy coming to New Life on a Thursday!”
