‘Roots’ is for those who have been walking with Jesus for a while and it seeks to address some of the discipleship challenges that tend to come a bit further down the road. Roots is not a continuous course, but instead consists of 8 ‘modules’, each of which stands alone. This October we are running the first of these – ‘faith and doubt’ – across two Wednesday evenings (15th and 22nd).
Doubt is a common experience, but is often treated as if it is something to be afraid of, ignored, or a sign of failure. Each of these paths does more harm than good – instead these two evenings aim to help us authentically face our doubt, seek to understand it and ask how God may be at work in our doubts for the maturing of our faith.
