Thank you to everyone who has given to support the work that Caminul Felix is providing in supporting refugees fleeing Ukraine. As a church family we have managed to raise a fantastic £2220 so far that will go direct to Caminul Felix for food, heating and transport costs as the charity offers a stop gap to those fleeing the conflict.
For a number of years members of our church family have supported Caminul Felix in Romania that provides a family for orphaned and abandoned children. Over the past six weeks Caminul Felix has housed hundreds of refugees from Ukraine, the vast majority of them mothers with children, as they escape the horrendous conflict in their country.
Ionel from Caminul Felix says;
“Thank you so much for your support with the work God is doing amongst us. In one of our houses we currently have 27 refugees, in another house 10. At the weekend I will be going to the Ukraine-Romania border to collect another 31. We are providing a transition place for those who are moving through and we know God is working as many of them arrive with just a single bag but leave, after having a cooked meal, warm bed and lots of support, with smiles on their faces. Thank you.”
