So, a full 30 years had gone by, and I had the privilege of getting the old Youth Band back together. The doors opened, and we were faced with the question ‘who would come?’ Well, around 150 people came along, some faces we hadn’t seen for 30 years, it was hard to break up conversations and start the service!
The band began to play and led us back to the 1990s and Delirious worship songs were sung with enthusiasm! What a wonderful time of worship we were a part of. A short video from Tim Walker (now in Australia) and a look back at photos from back in the day. Mark Ritchie spoke, had us crying with laughter and skilfully brought us to a point of following Jesus with a passion.
The service ended, and a further 2.5 hours later we left, having enjoyed great catch ups. So here’s looking forward to another one in 30 years’ time!
